I have proudly called Muscatine home for more than 30 years. I attended Garfield Elementary, Franklin Elementary, and also Muscatine High School. Being part of this community has always been important to me, and I am honored to now serve the seniors and families who call it home.
In 2018, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I discovered my passion for healthcare. I began my career in a long-term care facility and truly loved caring for residents. While the nursing home setting taught me so much, I wanted to experience a different side of senior living, which led me to Sunnybrook.
I quickly fell in love with the assisted living environment and the relationships I built with residents, families, and my team. Through hard work and dedication, I was promoted to Administrative Assistant about a year and a half later. Shortly afterward, I became the Business Office Manager, and today I am proud to serve as the Executive Director at Addington Place of Muscatine. My journey has shown me the value of compassion, teamwork, and always putting our residents first.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my daughter. We love hunting down a 7 Brew coffee or treating ourselves to a spontaneous snack. I also enjoy spending time with my two fur babies, Baylee and Brynlee, and cheering on my husband as he tackles his latest project or adventure.
I love being outdoors, especially anywhere where there's a beach and sunshine. I'm always up for great food and a memorable dining experience, and if you know me, you know I'm a proud Pepsi Zero fan!
